  • We kindly ask that you do not ship your equipment in original manufacturer packaging (such as branded camera or lens boxes). These boxes are not designed for shipping and may not adequately protect your gear in transit. Always use sturdy unmarked shopping box with proper padding. Thank you for helping us keep your equipment safe!

  • Your package should include the following information:

    Name

    Address

    Email Address

    Telephone

    Short Description of Issue

  • The package should be addressed as follows:

  • Find any sturdy box. Please do not send any accessories which are not required for repair... such as batteries, straps, memory cards.

  • Place in a plastic bag and then packed with packing material with at least 2-3 inches of packing material on all sides.

  • Include your complete contact information and a short description of the problem. We will confirm receipt.

When do I hear back from Kurt's?

We will confirm receipt with you via email or phone. Once we review the issue, we will call to discuss the repair, timeframe, and price. Once repaired, we will call for payment and get your item back into the mail.

Repair or Replace?

  • If the cost of repair is less than half the cost of replacement, repair it.
  • If you have a sentimental attachment to your camera, repair it.
  • If your camera meets your photography needs, repair it.
  • If you have more than one lens for your camera, repair it.
  • If you have more then one rechargeable battery or memory card, repair it.
  • If you do not want the hassle of learning a new camera, repair it.
  • Kurt’s Repair Warranty

    If you experience a problem with a piece of gear serviced or repaired by Kurt’s within the warranty period, simply send it back to us, and we will repair it free of charge. Impact damage, sand or liquid damage voids the warranty.

  • Warranty periods:

    Film Cameras: 6 months

    Digital cameras, lenses, flashes and other related equipment: 6 months
